How can you keep up with the music of your country of origin even if you've lived there for the last 10+ years
How do you describe your life? I am a young Russki man who came to America in search of an improved life. In Russia, I was not wealthy. I was poor. Not me, per-say, but my family. Russia's young adults weren't financially dependent as they were growing up. So we were forced but to find ways to make our own money. There were numerous schemes. The majority of them looked like drunks asking their friends for just a few dollars to buy their vodka bottles. It's almost like as we'd explore ways to earn some dollars quickly to buy bread. We always had food cravings.
So I finally made it to America. But is nowhere like New York, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. The place is truly reminiscent of home. It's noisy and filthy the people are rude and the place is full of Russian speech. I've spent quite a lot of money in Russian restaurants and music/books stores.
I am a music lover, and I love to read books. It was discovered recently it is possible to find Russian literature on Kindle. I have stopped buying books that were printed in hardcopy. In addition, I don't have much space in my house and my wife is a complete hoarder. So, I do my best not to buy new stuff. While the stacks of books appeared intelligent the first few month however, they began to look dull and boring when I realized that there was still plenty of room for my other items.
Music is another matter. I am a huge fan of music since my job requires me to travel far distances and I listen to a lot. As an Russian immigrant, I haven’t been able to enjoy all the music of the present that I have heard in the USA. They're still very popular , even though I've been away for over 20 years. Youtube is a must these days. And so I spend hours listening to music on Youtube whenever I return home from work or after work.

When I want to hear them in the car but I don't have enough internet. It's vital for navigation, driving and also for my personal enjoyment. Therefore, I prepare at home. I'm in the middle of. I upload a handful of songs on Youtube as MP3 files. After that I burn these MP3s onto a CD using my computer. After that I drive the CD to my car to listen. The site lets you download your Youtube playlist and print the songs. Each song can be saved to your computer as an mp3 file. Then, you can convert the mp3 to an audio disc. Sometimes, I make data discs and it won't play on the car stereo. When audio is recorded, it's amazing the way technology works. I don't have to be online to listen to mp3s. All I need is CD to plug into my car's stereo slot. The music from Russia blasted in Manhattan while I drove around.

A friend of mine hooked his smartphone to the car stereo and the phone began playing high-quality sound within less than two seconds. It wasn't a lot of Internet to stream Spotify or Pandora radio. This sounds like something I'd like to try. Of course, I'll take care not to connect to any wifi that is free.
